A hand pieced wall hanging with hand embroidery on and inside Jogakbo ssamsol inspired seams.
Art & action. Quietening my mind and the cruel words that just wouldn’t shift, refocusing on returning strength.
The juxtaposition of the seams of coal with the seams of diamonds that coarse through each of us.
Harsh words stitched on water soluble substrate, pulled apart and disintegrated to remove their meaning. Words of courage, growth and pride stitched in permanence to replace them.
