Processing II: Patterns

(2026)
A machine pieced and quilted wall hanging with hand embroidered
appliqué illustrations of human made patterns.
Capturing intentional noticing on a weekly journey to therapy.
Reflecting on the patterns and small details we uncover through therapy that make us what we are. The contrast between the grid machine quilting and undulating hand stitched surface embroidery reflecting the mismatch between expectations (A to B) and reality (twists, turns, false starts and dead ends) when it comes to processing.
